Microsoft confirmed this week that they will host the third annual edition of their Connect Developers Conference from New York City on 16 and 17 November 2016.

The event, which will feature Microsoft Executive Vice President Scott Guthrie and Microsoft Program Manager Scott Hanselman, will provide information about the Microsoft developer stack.

The two day event will cover such areas as:

  • Visual Studio
  • .NET
  • Xamarin
  • Azure
  • SQL
  • Windows
  • Office

The free live-stream will include live Q&A sessions with Microsoft Engineers, customers and other partners who will provide insight for using the Microsoft stack to develop apps that work across the entire mobile eco-system.

The event will be available online at and begins on 16 November at 8:30 AM Eastern Time.

Last year this was a very well received event and that is a big reason why Microsoft has brought it back once again. It also allows you to save a few bucks in your travel and training budget by lining up some on-time training that will not cost your organization anything but time to allow your devs to tune in and watch.

But, wait...there's probably more so be sure to follow me on Twitter and Google+.
